What is botTalk?
botTalk is a hands-free AI listener and voice assistant for Android. It turns selected speech into a transcript, sends the request to your chosen AI model, and returns an answer you can read or hear through connected earbuds.
Does botTalk use speaker diarization?
botTalk uses voice activity detection and optional enrolled-speaker filtering to determine whether detected speech likely matches the enrolled user. This speaker-aware filtering is related to speaker diarization, but botTalk does not present a multi-speaker transcript that labels who spoke when.
Is botTalk always listening?
No. Microphone capture begins only when you start a feature that needs it. Android visibly discloses active background microphone use, and you can turn the listening feature off.
Can botTalk answer through earbuds?
Yes. When spoken responses are enabled, botTalk can deliver AI-generated answers as audio through connected earbuds. Answers also appear as text in the app.
